In the hardest of times, the pub has always been a great place to be.
In the strangest of times, I'm going to try to help bring a little bit
of the pub into your home.
Our new store already has some great craft beers from local brewers and this range will continue to grow along with recognisable brands across beer, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. It now stocks ranges from the following local brewers;
Peak Ales - Chatsworth Gold, Bakewell Best, Great Ridge and more
Thornbridge Brewery - Florence, Green Mountain Jaipur and more
Bradfield Brewery - Brown Cow, Farmers Stout, Farmers Blonde
Wolds Farm - 100CC, Riber Gold and High Tor
Ashover Brewery - Little Moor Citra, Butts Pale Ale, Hawaiian Shirt and more
The shop carries a growing selection of wines, some great niche brands, including our house Rambler Red and White from Hattersleys complemented by some big brand favourites; McGuigan Estate, Jacobs Creek, Oyster Bay, Villa Maria, and more.
All the usual suspects, Carling, Fosters, Stella Kronenbourg, etc are all available as well. Meaning that with cider, snacks, and soft drinks it has something for everyone. And everyone is welcome.
Deliveries are available across the local area around Matlock (map to follow!). Or you can click and collect - it saves queuing at the supermarket. It's free for anyone who is self-isolating (call me) or any other order over £15.
Prices are reasonable. For example, a 4 pack of Carling costs the same here as in Sainsbury's. (That's cheaper than Morrisons (at Matlock Green) and the Coop in Darley Dale.
Service? You could read the reviews (very positive btw) but the only real way to find out, is to try it out!
